Overview
The Qualified Pooled Plan Professional (QP3™) provides retirement plan administrators with the practical knowledge and insight to understand and navigate the structure and operation of MEPs and PEPs, with emphasis on governance, fiduciary roles, compliance, reporting, operational execution, and risk management.
Who It’s For
This program is designed for experienced retirement plan professionals, including plan administrators, relationship managers working with MEPs and PEPs, and QKA® holders expanding into pooled plan work. It also supports professionals working adjacent to pooled plans, including TPAs, advisors, recordkeepers, and compliance teams who support employers moving into or out of MEP or PEP arrangements.
What It Takes
Have earned a passing score on the QKA-1 and QKA-2 exams, OR have 3 years’ experience in retirement plan administration.

Each package also includes a practice exam and a final proctored exam.
Exam Information
The QP3™ credential exam is delivered using a proctored online examination system. The closed book exam consists of 75 multiple choice questions. Candidates have 2 1/2 hours to complete the exam.
